In the centre of town:
The
picturesque historical centre,
enclosed within the polygonal
walls (5th- 4th cent. b.C.).

A legend narrates that secret roads
still exist under an imposing tower 30
metres high, symbol of Amelia. These roads
all lead outside the town, and were used
to escape from enemies and to hide the
more precious treasures.
